mom I can't walk around with ointment on my leg because people will see that I have ointment randomly there and they'll see a part of my body presently in pain and me not in appealing shape and to be hurt is what it means to have a human body and it's just really hard to visually consume and objectify someone when they're so ephemerally inconveniently human

he's basically just a big lanky robotic menace w/ a little bit of fluffy. (those skinny legs are probably why he falls after the strings get snapped LOL) might draw this guy rarely for fun but he was mostly a design exercise!

Was talking to my hairdresser The other day and she suddenly was like !!! Nooo you’re not supposed to shave your legs!! Which was confusing because I have never shaved my legs in my entire life and am fairly hairy. After some back and forth it turned out that she’s naturally super sparsely haired, comes from a line of people who are naturally sparsely haired, and she assumed that that was the natural state of all humans with an estrogen-based body, and the only reason they’d ever become hairy is if they shave their body hair once and let it grow back out again. The “you’ll get hairier/thicker body hair if you shave once” myth I was familiar with, but I’ve never met someone who believed it in like... this angle? With how pervasive the expectation for women to shave their body hair is here in the US, it makes sense that she’s never seen the natural range of body hair on others. And if you’re naturally really light on hair, then it makes sense that you’d come to the conclusion that this is true for everyone!

There’s a significant language barrier between us so it took a while to figure this out. I had to explain to her that a lot of people just are naturally actually hairy, testosterone be damned. It was a really fascinating conversation for sure

See now that I have my tattoo I understand why nobody gets just one. First, it looks lonely out here on my otherwise blank leg. Second, perhaps even more important, is that I spent years looking up anecdotes of how much it hurts and trying to prepare myself and now I've done it and it's just. Huh! Yep that hurt. No I didn't really mind. And now I know what's possible.

neil 100% seems like someone who would scratch the shit out of his scars. especially the new ones on his arms and face. it itches, he scratches. like, he's in the middle of a conversation and he starts scratching and andrew smacks his hand away. he's at practice and starts to scratch and abby yells at him from the bench. he rests his head in his hand in class and starts to rub at the lines on his cheek.

but like with most things the more you scratch it the more it itches.

after scratching at it all day, now he has clear, raised, red marks up and down his arms and he's flapping his arms and whining "it's itchy." he starts to do it at night and it keeps everyone up. nicky sleeps on the couch one night because "i swear to god if i have to listen to him claw his own skin off all night im going to lose my mind, it sounds like he's scratching sand paper."

neil wakes up with a few small indications that he's drawing blood from scratching in the middle of the night. there's spots that have gotten bad enough that he's able to pick at them. there are certain shirts he likes in the winter because they're scratchy but there are also shirts he can't wear anymore because it rubs the wrong way.

sometimes the arm bands help, but sometimes they just get in the way.

I still haven't translated the character profiles and there are a lot of gaps/incompletions so I will probably add on as I get ideas

For Isaac, Magdalene, Cain, Judas, Eve, Lazarus, Samson, Bethany, Jacob & Esau (the characters weren’t born in that place) : The characters wake up in the basebent floor 1. If they want to get out, they need to finish Final Ending. Get the Polaroid or the Negative or find the faded polaroid, go through the strange door, ascend to home, defeat dogma and the beast and they will die and be reborn in their own worlds without sin.

For Blue Baby, Azazel, Eden, Lost, Lilith, Keeper, Apollyon, and forgotten (the characters existing in that place): They were existing in the basement, so if they complete the final ending, they reborn into their past lives (Blue baby, lost, Forgotten). I haven’t decided what happems to the others yet :/

When someone dies or completes an ending that isn’t Final Ending they get respawned into the first floor without their items (other than their original ones). If they die mid run they barely remember anything about the monsters/items. But if they finish a run they vividly remember what the monsters/items were and they get a small hint for the Final Ending

But, if someone dies or completes the wrong ending they get a little corrupted. And if this happens too much they become their tainted vesions. To get their normal versions back they need to find the red key/cracked key and open the closet (the opposite of what happens in the game). If they complete the Final Ending without freeing their normal versions they get reborn into their original world and timeline as their tainted versions.

Hi hi!! I'm so glad you're enjoying it!!! 💖 As much as I would love to be able to get chapters out at a reliable pace, I do not have a schedule lol. Please trust that alasr is not going on hiatus, and if I haven't updated it in a few weeks it doesn't mean I've abandoned it (people have worried about this in the past, which is the only reason I'm mentioning it here 😅). I'm kind of obsessed with writing and will write on my phone with every spare functional moment I have, but it still can take a while to finish something. So my schedule is basically just "as fast as I possibly can" lol. I truly appreciate you! I've worked really hard on it so it makes me so happy that you like it so far! 💕💜💕

Okay, so my younger sister has anxiety and therefore a psychiatric Service Dog. He is certified and trained, and has had experience going to restaurants. However, he is young, so while he follows rules, doesn’t chase others, and doesn’t make noise/disturb, he tends to sit by us instead of laying at our feet (just his comfort level).

We are currently on vacation in Northern Wisconsin, and visited a restaurant called Maiden Lakes Supper Club. While there, once we were seated and had ordered, I noticed a balding man side-eyeing us. He soon came over while our dog was sitting behind us, by the wall. He immediately told us that he had never seen a service dog “that didn’t just lay down at the owner’s feet and didn’t eat”. He was extremely critical and as soon as we said that he was staying by us and was still in training, he stormed off without giving us his name. We were incredibly upset - our dog was obedient, quiet, and stayed underneath our table, even when the waitresses came by.

We spoke with him afterwards, and he stated that as the owner, he was simply trying to protect the place. From the incorrigible beast of murder and mayhem known as the “service dog”. Now from what we’ve heard he was the manager, not the owner, but regardless we were furious with his behavior. If you or someone you know has a service dog and lives near Wisconsin or is planning on visiting, please turn them away from Maiden Lakes Supper Club! However, all of the food and other waitstaff were wonderful.

I am going to go love our dog severely while seething in my chair. Hope you all have better experiences with your service animals! Also, PLEASE don’t put fake service dog vests on your animal. It’s incredibly illegal and hurts the treatment and reputation of trained service dogs. Thank you for respecting our animals!

my classmates will go thru 6 hours of class the day after a long excursion through the countryside and then just get up and go run around in town for hours going to movies and shopping and whatever and I'm just sitting here like Aren't you all exhausted . Aren't you all sore and pained. Where are you getting this energy. Can we calm down
